WebWorx is a full-service digital design and development company. Our Internet services include strategic planning, search-engine optimization, marketing, and analytics. We discover, design, develop, and deploy all the environments a business needs to excel in today’s multi-sensory world. In order to create the digital tools that enhance marketing and branding objectives, we have brought together the area’s brightest designers, editors, developers, tech specialists, and strategists.

where we came from

We have a long and comprehensive history in digital media with extensive experience with local, regional and national businesses. We have been engaged on many occasions to deliver projects for notable clients including several Fortune 500 organizations.

WebWorx is the evolution of Pixels, Inc, one of Greensboro’s earliest and most active Web design companies. Pixels began bringing Triad businesses online in 1999. Some of the company’s first clients included Quaintance-Weaver, Craft Insurance Center, MasterColor Labs, and Pace Communications, a world leader in custom publishing.

In July 2008, WebWorx was formed as a division within I.T. Worx, Inc.

how we do it

To begin, we form a WebWorx team to shape the overall project with the client. Teams are comprised of project managers, programmers, designers, and editors. Each member of the team works closely with the client to understand needs and requirements. As we respond, we move through manageable steps the client can comfortably follow and along the way we create multiple approval stages for feedback.

First, we create and fuse the design and the function. Then we setup the server. Next, we refine the technical details. Finally, we review design and edit content with the client.

THE CLIENT: Triad Stage

Triad Stage is a professional, not-for-profit theatre serving the greater Greensboro area. Now celebrating its eighth season, Triad Stage has garnered both local and national accolades.

THE CHALLENGE

Triad Stage sought a new online presence that would reflect its unique theatre experience. The new Web site had to easily speak to patrons and theatergoers. In addition, Triad Stage wanted to launch the site in phases, between productions. The company wanted a platform that would comfortably handle additions as its repertoire grew.

OUR SOLUTION

We formed a team — a project manager, a programmer, and a designer — to work closely with the theatre’s staff to understand specific requirements. We created multiple approval stages for client input. Our team created a design that would optimize functional expectations. At the same time, we set up the server and refined the technical details. Then we reviewed the design and edited the content to the satisfaction of the client.
